CORNER OF BROTHER IN-LAW

Ladies and Gentlemen,

This is my corner, Eniste’s Corner, Eniste is the husband of  the sister of a lady. Therefore, I am the eniste of Didem, she is my wife’s sister.

This is my corner, it is owned by eniste J. We will be together on this corner, both we will share our opinions and will make nice and very special meals on this corner. The topic will be connected by a proverb “the way goes through to heart passes from stomach”

I am working for Turkish Radio-Television Corporation, my job is broadcasting.

To cook and to produce programs for broadcasting is very similar affairs. You spend so much time to prepare meals and they are consumed in minutes. Do you know how many person are working for the programs you watch on screen? Do you know how many people involved on cooking process for meals. To be appreciated by audience is the best thing you can not imagine and please do not forget the eyes of your guests they eat your meals and you have a good feeling about the time you spent for it.

Therefore, both cooking and producing programs for television are very similar, after spending so much time the best pleasure is to be appreciated, believe in me.

Do not be afraid, I will not give you tariffs take so much time to cook, on the contrary they will be short but best guns to hit someone’s stomach and heart on positive aims J

Mmmmmmmmm, yummy yummy my mouth is juicy by imagination of the course I will tell today..

 

Of course there are other things to exist on this corner. I do not accept female dominance on this site. If some one says that only ladies are interested with cooking he or she must be ignorant. The best cookers are always experienced gentlemen like me. Hehehhehehehhe I am a little bit wise guy, ROFL....

  I always fight with my wife’s sisters, teasing them and making jokes due to this topics. Didem always tell her cooking experiences but I never taste a better meal she made than I have done.  She is a professional cook and owner of this site, at least I appreciate her, due to her understanding, for this aggressive corner, LMAO.

 

Therefore, as an obstinacy to my wife and her sister, I will give you the best examples of tariffs made by a man and made at home.

I have told you how I am smart-alecky J

 

The course, I will give you its tariff, is the best gun to bring the correct heart in your palms. And even you can carry this gun without any certification and it will not kill any person (lolol – who knows some times ladies are killed by pleasure when they eat this).

 

Ingredients:

 

5-6 medium size potatoes

3 gloves garlic.

1 litre milk.

Black pepper and salt.

Some liquid oil

1 table spoon butter

1 tray, 1 oven and half kilowatt electricity. J

You know I do not care quantities in kitchen, best measures for ingredients are my eyes and my hands, fingers. I have never made mistake till now, ROFL, I hope not to do in future.

 

Procedure:

Peel potatoes, and slice them like coins, thickness will be half finger. Oil the tray. I am talking about oven tray. A short cut for you, take a piece of serviette (napkin) oil it and brush on tray J and then throw it into garbage .

Compose sliced potatoes on tray be careful each one of them will be next to another, do not put any one over the others for a better cooking.

Then okay, now please take garlic and kill it in a cup J  It will be stuffed. Add on some black pepper, salt, if you want red pepper and put milk onto this mixture and mix it by a spoon.

Then, then, pour this mixture over to potatoes, mixture should cover the potatoes.  Then put small pieces of butters on different places over this mixture. As I have mentioned before, everything is measured by expert eyes.

 

Now, heat oven and put tray inside, oven temperature must be high, then cook it.

When will you take tray out? Good question...

Look for oven every 5 minutes (I suppose you use a normal oven not a microwave one) when it is close to take out time, you will see that mixture will be dried and it will take a red colour over potatoes. When it goes from pink to red it is the time to take out. According to my experience 15-20 minutes is enough.

If it is very dry it will not be so tasteful.

It has to be eaten when it is hot. I dye to put some natural yoghurt over it. Tastes so good.
